I have very warm memories about Kunjumon Uncle ,though Jomol is the only reason for me to have met him, I still had a great one on one relationship with him.
We had very limited occasions to meet as I am based abroad, however, Uncle made all our meetings most memorable with his entertaining way of interactions laced with humour. As I am person who enjoys food a lot , and so does Kunjumon Uncle , I think that may also be a reason for Uncle and me to gel well, so soon after my marriage . He has a special place in my heart and memories and will be remembered dearly all through my life .

My earliest memory of Kunjumon is him standing seriously on the long verandah of his traditional home, watching us - my siblings and I- gambolling excitedly in front of his home, close to the water's edge, calling out sternly not to go too close to the rippling waters surround ng his land. He was concerned, I suppose, one of us would fall in and be drowned...
For me, the picture the memory leaves behind epitomizes this dear Brother of mine - stern, intense and caring.
As we grew older, and our interaction increased with every visit of mine to Kerala, I began to see him as a very deep, efficient and quietly loving and caring person. He was
happy I visited him with my children and took loving care of them, giving in to their curious desire to see and examine all he did. Meeting him after his accident broke my heart. I touched his face and asked if it hurt too much
"Sahikaan melathathil kooduthal alla, Pengaley" he answered. He was a stoic, with a heart as large as him self. The last I saw him was at the wedding of a dear niece. As he sat waiting to return home, he looked up at me and asked: "Pengal Changanasery varunna endey koodey?" I had to leave the next day for home, so l promised him I will spend a day with him when I come again. But that was not to be. Now I will meet him in Heaven when I reach there - my precious Brother whom I love dearly. He was involved in International Organisation s, and is a much loved and respected Citizen. He is KS Korah.

Today as we honor Kunjumonichayan (Late K.S. Korah), We remember him as an elder brother whose love, support, wisdom and his cheerful nature was a gift that uplifted us all.
His warm, welcoming spirit and dedication in serving others have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is greatly missed and his legacy will continue to live in our hearts.
On his 5th Death Anniversary, We pray for his departed soul to Rest in Peace. Amen.

Kunjumon, as KS Korah is endearingly called, is not only my cousin, but a dear friend, companion and loving person… loved by everyone who came across him, for his sincerity. His cheerful nature along with his soft and mild demeanor made him a person loved by the community.
On this, his fifth death Anniversary, we Pray for his departed Soul to Rest in Everlasting Peace.
